When Olivia Browning’s husband, Hugh, is ravaged by Alzheimer’s Disease, she must make a decisive choice regarding his right to die.

The Fall Line

After losing his legs in a grenade blast in Iraq, 101st Airborne Ranger Heath Calhoun endures a tortuous recovery. Years later, the Virginia native finds freedom in an unlikely location, on the ski slopes of Aspen, Colorado. Calhoun discovers an innate talent for ski racing, earning a coveted chance to represent his country again — as an athlete on the 2010 Paralympic ski team. With gold in the balance, Calhoun commits everything to the challenge.

The Killing of Mary Surratt

Boardinghouse innkeeper Mary Surratt was one of four Southern sympathizers who was tried, convicted, and executed for conspiring to assassinate President Lincoln. Believed by many to have been innocent, she was nevertheless doomed to be the first woman killed by the U.S. government, who was eager to put the whole tragic affair behind them.

The Secret Friend

A reclusive, elderly widow, Anna Marshall, lives in quiet desperation following her husband’s death until she begins receiving daily phone calls from a silent stranger. At first Anna finds the calls intrusive, but as the calls continue unabated Anna finds herself waiting for her phone to ring with growing anticipation prompting her to reach out to her silent prankster.

Two Friendly Ghosts

(dir. André Aimaq; U.S.; 2010, 11 mins)

James Dean and Donald Turnupseed, the man whose car killed Dean, meet again for the first time … at the very same intersection where the accident occurred.
